Kevin Mayer is a Strategic Advisor to MuseCellInnovations, bringing decades of experience in global strategy, media, technology, and brand-led growth. He is a seasoned executive and investor known for scaling category-defining companies and guiding organizations through complex periods of expansion and transformation.
Mr. Mayer previously spent more than 25 years at The Walt Disney Company, where he served in senior leadership roles overseeing corporate strategy, business development, and direct-to-consumer operations. During his tenure, he played a central role in some of the most significant acquisitions in media history, including Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm, and 21st Century Fox, and helped launch and scale Disney’s global streaming platforms.
Following Disney, Mr. Mayer served as Chief Executive Officer of TikTok and Chief Operating Officer of Byte Dance, leading one of the world’s fastest-growing digital platforms. He is currently Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Candle Media and a Founding Partner of Smash Capital, where he advises and invests in high-growth technology and consumer brands.
