Mari Dezawa
Professor Mari Dezawa graduated from Chiba University School of Medicine, Chiba, Japan, in 1989, was awarded the degree of MD, and worked as a resident in the Department of Internal Medicine at Chiba University Hospital. She started Neural Regeneration Research at the Department of Histology, Chiba University Graduate School of Medicine, was awarded her PhD in 1995, and continued her studies at Yokohama City University.
After moving to Kyoto University Graduate School of Medicine as Associate Professor in 2003, she developed methods to induce human mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) to form neural and skeletal muscle cells (J. Clin. Invest, 2004; Science, 2005).
In 2008, she was appointed Professor and Chair of the Department of Stem Cell Biology and Histology at Tohoku University Graduate School of Medicine, where she discovered reparative pluripotent stem cells, Multilineage-Differentiating Stress Enduring (MUSE) stem cells, residing in the body (PNAS, 2010; PNAS, 2011; Nat Protocol, 2013; Cell Mol Life Sci, 2022).
Her team conducted pre-clinical studies for MUSE stem cells (Stroke, 2017; JASN, 2017; Cir Res, 2018; Mol Ther, 2020; Am J Transpl, 2021; JCBFM, 2021; J Invest Dermatol. 2021) and conducted clinical studies for their application in acute myocardial infarction, subacute stroke, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, epidermolysis bullosa, neonatal hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy, and cervical spinal cord injury (Stem Cell Transl Med, 2024).
She has been awarded several prizes, including the Prize for The Commendation for Science and Technology, Japan Government (2011). In 2018, she was appointed a fellow of the National Academy of Inventors (NAI) in the USA.

He serves as a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at NYU Grossman School of Medicine and maintains an active surgical practice in New York City.
Dr. Glashow’s clinical focus includes advanced arthroscopic and minimally invasive surgical techniques for shoulder and knee conditions, such as anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction, revision ACL surgery, arthroscopic rotator cuff repair, meniscal transplantation, and other intricate procedures that optimize functional recovery and help patients return to active lifestyles. Dr. Glashow earned his medical degree from Cornell University Medical College (1984) and completed orthopedic surgery residency training at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. He supplemented his surgical training with specialized fellowships in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery at the Southern California Orthopaedic Institute/UCLA, followed by advanced shoulder fellowships in Canada and at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
His professional affiliations include the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Arthroscopic Association of North America, and multiple national sports medicine societies. Dr. Glashow continues to contribute to the field through clinical practice, mentorship, and academic engagement, advancing care in orthopedic surgery and sports-related musculoskeletal injuries.

Dr. White is widely recognized as a leading expert in aging and regenerative medicine. He earned his Ph.D. from the Ansary Stem Cell Institute in the Division of Regenerative Medicine at Cornell University and completed postdoctoral training at the Interdisciplinary Stem Cell Institute at the University of Miami’s Miller School of Medicine, where he published pioneering research on the role of peripheral nerve signaling in cardiac regeneration. Dr. White is the CEO and CSO of Neobiosis, a perinatal regenerative tissue research and manufacturing company, and also serves as CSO for Ways2Well. He is the Vice President and a member of the Board of Directors of the American College of Regenerative Medicine. Additionally, he serves on the scientific advisory boards of the Alliance for Longevity Initiatives (A4Li) and the Healthspan Action Coalition.
The government of the Bahamas appointed Dr. White to the Ethics Committee for the Longevity and Regenerative Therapy Act (LARTA). He is also the founder of the Space-Aging Research Institute (SARI).

Dr. Vijay Vad is double board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation (physiatry) and sports medicine. He focuses on minimally-invasive integrative treatments for sports injuries, knee arthritis and back pain via advanced Stem Cell therapies.
In addition to treating patients at the prestigious Hospital for Special Surgery out of NYC, Dr. Vad has previously served as the physician for the professional men’s tennis circuit (Association of Tennis Professionals, ATP) as well as the physician for the Westchester Classic of the PGA Tour, and MSG Tennis Showdown. Dr. Vad has written and published Back Rx, Arthritis Rx, Golf Rx and The New Rules of Running published by Penguin Random House.

As a researcher who constantly champions better treatments, Dr. Vad utilizes carboplasty which he has developed in conjunction with his colleagues in India, Ghana, and Germany. Through his use of tibial bone marrow-derived stem cells to treat knee arthritis he has minimized dependence on joint replacements, exhibiting promising results presented at the Orthopedic Research Society meeting, 2018.
Along with his scientific team in Boston, Dr. Vad has developed medical food capsules for dietary management of big diseases and to reduce dependence on anti-inflammatory medications and narcotics. Dr. Jeffrey J. Wiegers is a double board-certified anesthesiologist and fellowship-trained interventional pain management physician specializing in regenerative and biologic medicine. His work integrates advanced interventional techniques, precision diagnostics, and emerging cellular and molecular therapies to address chronic pain, musculoskeletal degeneration, and complex inflammatory conditions.
Dr. Wiegers earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri–Columbia, where he studied psychology and conducted neuroscience research focused on beta-adrenergic modulation of performance and serotonergic signaling, including functional MRI characterization of 5-HTT receptor activity. He received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Medicine and developed an early interest in the translational application of ultrasound technology in clinical medicine. During medical training, he collaborated with the anesthesiology department at UCLA to support the development of novel ultrasound training and implementation protocols.
He completed his anesthesiology residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, where he served as Chief Resident, followed by advanced fellowship training in Interventional Pain Management at Cedars-Sinai. His clinical and research work during this period included investigations into ketamine-based therapeutics and complex pain physiology, further shaping his interest in neuromodulation, pharmacology, and regenerative strategies.

McRoberts then went on to become a notable figure in the financial and payments industry with significant contributions to both traditional and innovative payment solutions though the development of ground-breaking intellectual property / software. As the former Executive Chairman of Optimal Payments (renamed Paysafe Group PLC – NYSE:PSFE), McRoberts played a pivotal role in the company’s development and success. Under his leadership, the company was instrumental in providing comprehensive payment processing services across various sectors, including medical retail and e-commerce. Dominik Duscher MD PhD is a specialist in longevity medicine and plastic surgery, a scientist, bestselling author, consultant and entrepreneur. Kenneth Ford is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Florida Institute for Human & Machine Cognition (IHMC) — a not-for-profit research institute located in Pensacola, Florida. IHMC has grown into one of the nation’s premier research organizations with world-class scientists and engineers investigating a broad range of topics related to building technological systems aimed at amplifying and extending human cognition, perception, locomotion, and resilience. Richard Florida has described IHMC as “a new model for interdisciplinary research institutes that strive to be both entrepreneurial and academic, firmly grounded and inspiringly ambitious.” IHMC headquarters are in Pensacola with a branch research facility in Ocala, Florida. Ford is the author of hundreds of scientific papers and six books. Ford received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Tulane University. He is Emeritus Editor-in-Chief of AAAI/MIT Press and has been involved in the editing of several journals. Ford is a Fellow of the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence, a charter Fellow of the National Academy of Inventors, a member of the Association for Computing Machinery, a member of the IEEE Computer Society, and a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
In January 1997, Ford was asked by NASA to develop and direct its new Center of Excellence in Information Technology at the Ames Research Center in Silicon Valley. He served as Associate Center Director and Director of NASA’s Center of Excellence in Information Technology. In July 1999, Ford was awarded the NASA Outstanding Leadership Medal. That same year, Ford returned to private life and to the IHMC.
In October of 2002, Ford was nominated to serve on the National Science Board (NSB) and the United States Senate confirmed his nomination in March of 2003. The NSB is the governing board of the National Science Foundation (NSF) and plays an important role in advising the President and Congress on science policy issues. In 2005, Ford was appointed and sworn in as a member of the Air Force Science Advisory Board. In 2007, he became a member of the NASA Advisory Council and on October 16, 2008, Ford was named as Chairman – a capacity in which he served until October 2011. In February of 2012, Ford was named to a two-year term on the Defense Science Board (DSB). In 2013, he became a member of the Advanced Technology Board which supports the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI). In 2018, Dr. Ford was appointed to the National Security Commission on Artificial Intelligence.
Ford has received many awards and honors. In 2004 Florida Trend Magazine named Ford one of Florida’s four most influential citizens working in academia. The University of Bordeaux awarded the Doctor Honoris Causas in 2005. In 2008 the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI) award Ford the Robert S. Englemore Memorial Award for his work in artificial intelligence. In August 2010, Ford was awarded NASA’s Distinguished Public Service Medal – the highest honor the agency confers. In 2012 Tulane University named Ford its Outstanding Alumnus in the School of Science and Engineering. In 2015, AAAI named Ford the recipient of the 2015 Distinguished Service Award. Also, in 2015, he was elected as Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS). In 2017 Ford was inducted into the Florida Inventor’s Hall of Fame. In 2020, Florida Trend Magazine named Ford one of its Living Legends, a list of all-time influential Florida leaders in business, medicine, academia, entertainment, politics, and sport.

Alexander R. Oliver is a retired Navy SEAL with over 21 years of distinguished service, including leadership roles at the Naval Special Warfare Development Group (NSWDG) where he selected, trained and mentored the next generation of America’s most elite warrior athletes. As the founder of Virginia High Performance LLC (VHP), Alex has been instrumental in advancing human performance and rehabilitation programs for elite military personnel and veterans. He pioneered initiatives such as the Human Performance Program at NSWDG and the “Continue Mission” program at VHP, which leverages science and holistic based research and modalities to deliver programs specifically to meet each veteran’s goals and needs. His work has directly contributed to US Special Operations Command (SOCOM) efforts like the Preservation of the Force and Family (POTFF) and he has supported the recovery and readiness of over 1,600 active duty personnel and veterans.

Ed Sanders joined Rolls-Royce Nuclear Submarines in 2023. His first substantive role was as Head of Security and Resilience within the Licence Authority Team. Prior to then taking on Head of program for AUKUS, Ed was seconded to the Chief of Staff position for Rolls-Royce Submarines. Prior to joining the submarine business, Ed was a career solider serving 10 years with the New Zealand Defense Force with the 1st NZ Special Air Service (SAS) Gp before transitioning to the British Army where he served another 22 years with the 22nd British SAS Regiment before retiring as a senior Officer. Ed holds a master’s degree in security and risk management, is certified with the World institute for nuclear security (WINS) as a Certified Nuclear Security Specialist, is a chartered member with the security professional resister (CsyP) and was awarded the Conspicuous Gallantry Cross during an offensive action operation in Afghanistan in 2001.

Daniel Corbett is a former U.S. Navy SEAL operator who served with elite units including SEAL Teams 5, 6, and 17. Enlisting in 2002, he deployed to Iraq and later joined SEAL Team 6, executing global missions in some of the world’s most challenging environments.
After transitioning from active duty, Daniel instructed future SEALs at the Naval Special Warfare Basic Training Command and later applied his expertise in the private sector, supporting complex international operations. His 2017 imprisonment in Serbia while on assignment became the subject of his best-selling memoir, American Mercenary, now in development as a television series.
Today, Daniel continues to lead entrepreneurial and strategic initiatives focused on unconventional solutions to global security challenges.

Sebastien Bouchard
Sebastien Bouchard is a former Special Operations Forces operator and founding member of the Canadian Special Operations Regiment (CSOR). He joined the Canadian Armed Forces in 2000, motivated by a sense of service and a longing for challenge. Over his career, he completed ten operational deployments—including seven combat missions—in places like Afghanistan, Iraq, and Northern Africa.
Rising to the rank of Warrant Officer, Sebastien served as Head Instructor of CSOR’s Sniper Program, where he trained and mentored elite marksmen. Today, he leads a global special risk mitigation firm, applying his operational experience, leadership, and strategic insight to provide discreet, high-impact solutions to complex global challenges.
