Muse exosomes and the muse secretome — Dezawa MuseExosomes®, the characterized exosome layer from an authentic Dezawa MuseCell® source

The Dezawa Muse Signaling™ Platform

Dezawa MuseExosomes® & MuseSecretomes®

A professional, clinical-grade system for skin and scalp — the characterized signaling layer, released by stress-enduring Dezawa MuseCells® and prepared at the moment of care.

The Dezawa Muse Signaling™ platform

It begins with one authenticated cell.

Every Dezawa signaling product begins with the Authentic Dezawa MuseCell® — signaling, two ways: the complete secretome, and the characterized exosome layer within it.

DMC

Dezawa MuseCells®

The source. A defined, SSEA-3-positive, stress-enduring cell population — the origin of everything downstream. Not a broad, pooled MSC mix, but a selected, authenticated starting point.

DMS

Dezawa MuseSecretome®

The complete profile. The full complement of factors these cells secrete — growth factors, cytokines, regulatory RNA and extracellular vesicles — characterized as a whole.

DME

Dezawa MuseExosomes®

The precision layer. The exosome fraction of that secretome — nanosized extracellular vesicles, independently characterized and prepared, lyophilized, for professional use.

Secretome vs exosome

The Secretome

A cell's secretome is the complete set of factors it releases. The exosome is one characterized layer within it — the vesicular fraction. Here is how the two relate in the Dezawa platform.

DME · Muse exosomes

The precision layer

Nanosized extracellular vesicles carrying proteins, regulatory RNA and lipids — measurable, marker-positive and size-appropriate in independent analyses.

DMS · Muse secretome

The complete signal

The vesicular layer plus the soluble factors an exosome-only preparation leaves behind — the fuller complement, from one defined source.

Growth factors · Cytokines · Regulatory RNA · Extracellular vesicles

Characterized, not assumed

A distinct secretome.

In a published proteomic comparison, the DMC secretome was measurably distinct from standard bone-marrow and adipose MSC secretomes — a different signal, from a different source.

Because a signal is only as trustworthy as the cell it comes from, Dezawa Muse Signaling™ products begin with a defined, SSEA-3-positive source. Dezawa MuseExosomes® are developed from authenticated MuseCell® cultures and supported by analytical characterization: a measurable EV layer, marker-positive, size-appropriate, sterile in tested vials, and morphologically intact in independent analyses.

Common questions

Muse exosomes, answered.

What are muse exosomes?

Muse exosomes are extracellular vesicles released by Dezawa MuseCells® — a defined, stress-enduring cell source. In professional skincare they are used to support overall skin appearance, including hydration, texture and tone.

What is the difference between a secretome and an exosome?

The secretome is the complete set of factors a cell secretes; the exosome is one characterized layer within it — the vesicular fraction. Dezawa MuseExosomes® are that characterized layer; the Muse Secretome® is the whole profile.

How are muse exosomes different from generic exosomes?

Most aesthetic exosome products are derived from broad MSC populations, such as adipose or umbilical-cord MSCs. Dezawa MuseExosomes® begin from a more defined biological source — SSEA-3-positive, stress-enduring Dezawa MuseCells® — and are supported by independent characterization of the vesicle layer.

How are muse exosomes used?

They are supplied in a lyophilized format for professional use, reconstituted with the hyaluronic acid diluent at the point of care, and applied within physician-led aesthetic protocols — including alongside professional procedures such as microneedling. For professional use only.
